I direct films that blend genre-bending narratives with improvisational performance, and bring that same creative enthusiasm to commercial work for brands like Google, Reebok, and People Magazine—generating 80M+ views in 2024.
Currently in pre-production on a feature film— Three of Swords.
My diverse creative toolkit— spanning directing, acting, and writing—enhances every aspect of my storytelling practice,
allowing me to navigate complex production environments, communicate authentically with collaborators,
and deliver compelling narratives that resonate across multiple platforms.

Teaching Artist
I teach On-Camera Acting I & II at
Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts and lead the On-Camera portion of the William Esper Studio's Career Launch program,
where I also direct and produce their industry showcase.
My approach: bring real-world production experience into the classroom—
no gap between conservatory training and professional demands.
Previously, I spent years as a teaching artist mentoring youth from elementary through high school in filmmaking, improvisation, and media arts.
Kyle Bahl is a New York-based filmmaker, producer, and educator with fifteen years of experience navigating the full spectrum of visual storytelling—from major brand campaigns to independent features.
A graduate of UNLV's Film program and the William Esper Studio's two-year Meisner conservatory, his work blends improvisational performance techniques with
genre-bending narratives that balance stark realism and surreal visual language.
As Supervising Creative Producer at People Inc., he led a team of five producers managing a $600K+ annual budget, generating nearly 80 million video views across major brands in 2024 alone. His commercial clients have included Google, Reebok, Alienware, and BVLGARI, with projects earning Webby nominations and industry recognition.
He co-directed Sleepaway Slasher, produced by James Franco and Rabbit Bandini Productions, and his recent short What Are We Doing Here won Best Editing at the Bridgeport Film Fest.
Beyond production, he teaches On-Camera Acting to BFA students at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts and leads the On-Camera portion of the William Esper Studio's Career Launch program, where he also directs their industry showcase. His teaching draws directly from his professional experience, bridging conservatory training with the chaos demands of working sets.
Now focused on directing his debut solo feature Three of Swords, he's at a pivotal career moment—channeling years of commercial discipline, artistic experimentation, and collaborative storytelling into a sustainable independent filmmaking practice. His work examines how people construct meaning and connection when traditional systems fail them, using tarot-inspired surrealism to externalize internal crisis.
With a proven track record across formats, budgets, and audiences, Kyle brings both creative ambition and
production rigor to every project.
